More V's for the sleep deprived

I thought last week was bad, but it turns out this week has set out to prove me wrong by making itself worse. I'm not going to go into it. Financial crap mostly, and a teething toddler and colicky baby thrown in on top of nights where I don't get sleep until 3am. I understand there are worse things in the world, I shouldn't complain really. Just struggling as a mother, as an adult and as a functioning human being this week. Crochet is once again pulling me through. Last night I sang 'Twinkle Twinkle' over and over to a baby who kept 'nearly' dropping off until I gave up, played some Iron and Wine and decided to hook something whilst bub lay beside me calmly at 1am. The 'More V's Please' 12" square pattern is so easy and quick and looks beautiful (it's my favourite)... it's a free download from Ravelry :-) I quite like it in solid colours; I've decided to use up my orange, green and beige skeins on these squares and see what I end up with.
I got the Summer Sprigs Lace Scarf onto my hook last night, and finally finished up the little cardi I've been working on. There will be a pattern forthcoming for that within the month.
See those little toes? Those little toes will be two months old this week. Time is going so quickly and my sweet little baby boy is growing up too fast Xx

P.s I was just on Facebook wasting some time and a friend tagged me in something that made me giggle. I thought I'd share it... I have to completely agree.

    1. No worries :-) I hope you enjoy making it! It's a lovely one. Things aren't the best lately, but I have my wonderful new Angel Tarot to help point me in the right direction now. Do you really? Well thank you! I should have that pattern in the works soon, at the moment it's a whole lot of typed shorthand. Xx
